Beth Carter – Professional Coach, Speaker, Author, and Blogger
E. Elizabeth “Beth” Carter has been an inspirational speaker since she was an exchange student at the age of 15. She has spoken at and served as a workshop facilitator for companies, universities, leadership conferences, women’s events, and career transition groups. Her topics include Motivating Your Workforce, Improving Communications, Conflict Resolution and Team Building, The Science of Being a Super Hero (soft skills), Negotiations Know How, The Good and Bad Four Letter Words in Your Dictionary for Success, and all job related topics. One of her firms, Beth Carter Enterprises, was launched in 2011 (www.bethcarterenterprises.com). This is a thriving business that encompasses executive, business, and career coaching, workshops and presentations, and the DISC, Motivators, 360, and Emotional Intelligence assessments.
In addition, Beth is President of Carter Consultants Ltd. (www.carterconsultantsltd.com), an executive search and research firm she founded in 1991. She holds a MBA in Marketing Management from Baruch College and graduated cum laude from Bryant University. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), and an Adjunct Professor at Bryant University, where she teaches for both the Executive Development Center and the undergraduate program.
Besides her own company blog, Beth published a book with Ronnie Ann Ryan entitled Job Search = Love Search, Ten Savvy Search Strategies that Help You Find Love Too. She has also been published in The Huffington Post, East Bay Newspapers, and other publications.
