Both workshops will be held at Commerce RI, 315 Iron Horse Way, Suite 101, Providence, RI 02908 on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. The details of each workshop are provided below: Session I “Learn the Fundamentals in Planning, Preparing, and Financing Your Business”, 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be provided for all participants. This workshop is geared toward helping potential entrepreneurs evaluate and understand the fundamentals of owning one’s own business. Session II “Understanding the Purpose of Financial Statements and How They Can Help Determine the Health of Your Business”, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided for all participants. The focus of this workshop is to help attendees understand a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
