Lunch N Learn: Business Communications

Principles and guidelines for effective communications in a business environment are the focus of this seminar, presented by Beth Carter of Beth Carter Enterprises. Topics covered include the impact of emotion on communication, using appropriate language, how to improve listening skills and the role of non-verbal behavior. Attendees will examine how to give and receive feedback, as well as how to respond to conflict. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from noon - 1 p.m. at the East Bay Chamber office, 16 Cutler St., in Warren. Cost is $5 for non-members, and free to East Bay Chamber members. Attendees are invited to bring their lunch.
