The Rhode Island Manufacturers’ Association (RIMA) is coming to Warren with the RIMA Roadshow. This event is planned for Thursday September 13th at 7:30AM at the WaterRower event space in their new office building. The RIMA Roadshow will take place in every city and town in RI to get the message out that there are programs designed to support economic growth which local businesses can access. The very first RIMA Roadshow will take place in Warren and we want to be sure it is a huge success for local businesses; especially our manufacturers!!
The Roadshow is designed to connect area manufacturing and other businesses to state and community government services available to help businesses grow and prosper. The state has a refreshing new approach to the Small and Medium sized Business community (SMB) as the Administration understands and appreciates the importance of this sectors contribution to the state’s economy. Governor Raimondo has made it clear to all of her departments that supporting SMBs in their efforts to grow their companies and increase employment is a priority for her team. She has brought in leaders throughout her administration who get it and want to do all they can to assist business in growing.
RIMA will be bringing officials from the following to the Roadshow in Warren on the 13th:
Governor’s Office
Department of Labor and Training
Department of Commerce
Department of Business Regulations
Town of Warren – Town Administrator and Town Planning
Other government partners may also attend – we will update everyone as planning progresses
