My name is Danyca Penick and it is my pleasure to announce the launch of a new monthly social magazine exclusively for the residents of Barrington.
The Barrington Sound is a collaborative effort between your neighbors, local businesses, and the company I work with, N2 Publishing; it is not produced by the town. The magazine will feature articles, stories, and pictures from residents in your neighborhood, and it ’s provided free of charge to the community. The goal of the publication is to connect residents and build community.
Why print you ask?
The feel. The smell. The look. The sound. Print engages the senses in a way digital never
will. It offers the eyes a much-needed screen break. It ’s a simple tool… no threat of viruses and no dependency on wifi to be kept up to date on local stories.
Anyone interested in our social activities, writing, taking pictures for the magazine or have a cause they are passionate about, I would love to hear from you. This includes young writers and young philanthropists!!
