General Session ­– Professional Services Panel – Q&A information session – transitioning to one of two available connection formats

1. INFORMAL NETWORKING: Informal networking and interface opportunity with Supply RI participants – resource partners – advocacy organizations – sponsors – industry association representatives

2. ONE ON ONE MEETINGS: Appointment/Schedules will be pre-qualified before the event to ensure the interactions are productive for both buyers and suppliers. Each supplier will be provided a 15-minute time slot to present.

What is the dress code for this event?

• We kindly request attendees to dress business casual.

What are my parking options for the event?

• Although there is no cost to attend the Supply RI: Business to Business Connection Event, there is a fee for parking. Adjacent to the event venue there is a parking garage cost will be approximately $15 per vehicle.

How many attendees from my company can register to attend?

• Due to limited space, a maximum of two attendees per company can register for this event.

How will the formal one-on-one meetings and informal meetings be scheduled?

• The Supply RI Team will schedule you for formal or informal meetings depending on the individual needs of each Supply RI Employer attending the event.
• How much time will I have to meet the Supply RI Employer Decision Makers?

• The one-on-one meetings will be a total of 15 minutes.
  • You will start with a 10-minute presentation.
  • At the 10-minute mark, there will be an announcement.
  • You will then have the next 5 minutes to summarize your presentation and close the meeting with the Supply RI Employer's representative.

Do I have to be pre-qualified to be selected for an informal meeting?

• No, we ask that you deliver a brief pitch during the informal meetings.

Which organizations could I potentially meet with?

• The Supply RI team will attempt, but cannot guarantee, to schedule you for at least two meetings with Supply RI Employers.
• The meeting you will be scheduled for will be confirmed prior to June 21, 2018.
• You will also could meet with resource partners that could help you develop and grow your business.

What is the difference between a Business Profile and a Capability Statement and which should I have prepared for the event?

• Business Profile is appropriate for the informal meetings , this  is a brief description of your business.
  • Like an elevator speech, efficiently inform the Supply RI Employer about your business and how it would aid them.
• Capability Statement is required for the one-on-one meetings, this is a more detailed snapshot of your business.
  • Your statement should include your experience, special credentials your business has obtained, and any other information you feel makes your company stand above your competitors.

Will any preparation training be provided for Suppliers?

• The Supply RI Team is happy to provide a webinar and in-person workshop for developing a capability statement and pitch.
• Mandatory attendance for all suppliers with a formal one-on-one meeting.
  • Suppliers with one-on-one meetings must attend either the webinar or in-person training, but both is unnecessary.
• Post event multiple business development and management services will be available from Rhode Island Resource Partners complimentary with the attendance of the event.
