Event Description: Join award winning architectural historian, John Tschirch, in a 3-part Thursday evening series focussing on the architecture of downtown Bristol. The series includes one lecture followed by two walking tours and all three events will begin at 6 p.m. August 1 Talk: "The Hand of the Artisan: A History of Architectural Ornament in Pattern Books" is a talk. Linden Place Ballroom, 6 PM August 8 Walk: "The Classical Tradition: Federal and Greek Revival Architecture". August 15 Walk: "Industry and Global Influences, Victorian Bristol". $30 for the entire Series or $20 for members of the BH&PS or Friends of Linden Place.
