Event Description: Beat the winter doldrums and prep for gardening season! Winter is the perfect time to begin planning your garden for the spring, get inspiration and learn new techniques from experts. Every month, Linden Place Mansion hosts gardeners’ talks and discussions lead by experienced gardeners about best practices, new techniques and more. The talks take place at 1 pm on the second Wednesday of every month at Linden Place. The purpose is to share proven, science-based gardening practices and to reach gardeners of all ages and abilities for learning new techniques, avoid bad practices, and share your own expertise. On February 12, we welcome master gardener and consultant, John Allen. Allen will talk about keeping color in your garden all year long. All presentations during the year will be lead by trained and/or professional gardeners and will encourage group discussions and questions. Admission is free but reservations requested.
