About Sue Young:
My passion for dance started at just 6 years of age when my Mom signed me up for dance classes in Stafford Springs, CT. Marjorie Seraphim, my very first instructor, laid the groundwork for what would become a life long love of the art of dance. Dancing through my childhood and into my adult years I have studied under a diversified group of instructors and am experienced in ballet, jazz, tap, Irish Step, Latin, swing & ballroom.

"Dancing The Dream" certainly sums up my feelings each time I experience an opportunity to share & teach an individual, a couple, or a class full of people. For the past several years I have taught private lessons & group classes in Latin and ballroom dance having studied under the direction of Master Teacher, Helle Rusholt Yi, in the DVIDA syllabus.

After recuperating from open heart surgery in 2012 I returned to teaching and in 2015 started teaching on a full time basis considering the Common Fence Point Community Hall, Portsmouth, R.I. as my home base.
